The Director of Fulfillment will lead all aspects of Ouai’s fulfillment both domestically and internationally. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of effectively leading and scaling fulfillment for high growth businesses across multiple channels, again both domestically and internationally. In addition, the ideal candidate will have built strong collaborative partnerships with third party fulfillment houses and freight brokers, and also have built and led high performance teams. He or she combines a relentless focus on quality, efficiency and cost optimization while thriving in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial environment.

Essential Functions

  • Lead all aspects of Ouai fulfillment, with particular focus on quality assurance and service level
  • Ongoing evaluation of optimal fulfillment footprint and subsequent RFP
  • Primary contact with all current and prospective 3PL’s, as well as with freight brokers and other transportation vendors such as carriers
  • Lead fulfillment team, including Manager of Fulfillment and Fulfillment Coordinator
  • Create and ensure compliance with Ouai fulfillment SOP’s
  • Develop and manage 3PL KPI’s as well as quarterly business reviews with 3PL’s and freight brokers
  • Identify and lead cost reduction initiatives with fulfillment houses and freight vendors
  • Work closely with quality assurance, co-manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, Ecomm and Finance teams
  • Lead annual audit of all 3PL’s

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to build and lead strategic high performance team
  • 7+ years’ experience in managing fulfillment, including international
  • Proven track record of developing strong working partnerships with fulfillment houses, particularly in the areas of innovation, quality improvements, cost reductions and overall supply chain efficiency improvement
  • Proven track record of effectively scaling fulfillment for high growth businesses across multiple channels including international
  • Able to develop and manage KPI’s for 3PL performance improvement
  • Proven ability to work effectively with key internal functional areas, with particular emphasis on Marketing, Sales and Finance
  • Strong strategic thinker, including developing and championing innovative new ideas both internally and externally
