As Social Media Manager, this position is responsible for executing the strategy for the content and community engagement across all of OUAI’s social platforms. Reporting to the Director of Social Media, you will work with the social media, marketing, creative and digital teams to create engaging on-brand content, propelling thoughtful conversations and growing a sense of community for one of the fastest growing social networks in beauty.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Work closely and collaboratively across Marketing, Creative, Digital, Product Development and our retail partners to champion social-first ideas and execute integrated content, activations, events and strategies
  2. Contribute to the development and execution of a best-in-class social media strategy, leveraging existing and emerging social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc), including but not limited to the following:
    1. Managing the visual aesthetic of theOUAI’s Instagram account through compelling and engaging photography
    2. Master the OUAI voice and cohesively storytell across all of the brand owned channels
    3. Conceptualize and produce brand-owned content tailored to each platform to drive engagement, reinforce brand identity and build brand equity
    4. Plan, storyboard and create Instagram Stories ensuring alignment with digital, marketing and the social media calendars
    5. Develop detailed creative briefs and shot lists for the OUAI social channels
  3. Create monthly content calendars for each organic social platform, ensuring all assets adhere to the quality, consistency and adherence the OUAI identity
  4. Develop social media campaigns, from concept to planning to execution to analysis to support brand initiatives
  5. Aide in the development of the overall social strategy as it relates to messaging, engagement and content performance
  6. Track performance of social media campaigns, content and overall platform health
  7. Assist in developing content & programs to hit KPIs, drive ROI and build brand equity
  8. Regularly review the social and digital work of competitors and industry leaders to consistently stay at the forefront of creative trends
  9. Continuously ideate and innovate within the social space
